Rita Li, General Manager of SPS, said, “Sino Group has strongly supported the development of local youth football. We are delighted to again collaborate with South China Football Team and to provide Sino residents with a professional football training platform. Catching the heat of World Cup fever, the “Sino-South China Cup – 4-Team Tournament” lets Sino residents enjoy healthy competitive sport and facilitates local football development as well.

Football Training Ambassadors, Chan Siu Ki and Lee Wai Lim, specially shared tactics with the teams, with Chan Siu Ki encouraging the players for mutual support, “We hope the Sino-South China trainees continuously enhance their football skills and develop their passion for football whether they choose the game as a career or not. It is important to develop team spirit and co-operation among teammates. This helps in any future career.”

Sino South China trainees performed their best in the games. Their coach, Ko Chi Chiu, appreciated their good performance, “In such hot weather, the trainees still seize every chance to score and cooperate well. It results from adequate trainings and the provision of good training venue by Sino Clubhouse.”

Sino Group proactively promotes local teen football training and positions its clubhouse as an extension of healthy living for residents. Every year more than 1,000 recreational activities are offered to enrich the lives of Sino residents at over 60 clubhouses. These activities include the 'Sino Clubhouse Future Soccer Star Selection', the 'Hong Kong Gold Coast Youth Football League', Shaolin martial arts and healthy living courses. The “Sino-South China Football Training Campaign” is the professional football training platform tailored for Sino residents. In January this year a training course was initially co-organised with the South China Football Team to coach Sino residents aged 5 to 15, enabling them to develop sports talent and build healthy habits.
